If you participate in any activity (including any sports, water sports or desert sports) whilst
on Holiday such participation is at your own risk and it is your own responsibility to obtain the
relevant insurance.
9.7
If you receive any medical services whilst on Holiday you acknowledge and agree that
such services shall be taken at your own risk and it is your own responsibility to consult
appropriate health professionals on any matter relating to your health and well-being.
10. Insurance
10.1
For your own interest we strongly recommend that you arrange cover with a
comprehensive holiday insurance policy to travel on any of our services.
11. Complaints
11.1
We plan our arrangements with great care, and in the unlikely event of a complaint about
any aspect of your stay, it should be reported immediately to the Hala Abu Dhabi’s local
representative or to the Hala Abu Dhabi Operations Team (+9712 599 0700), who will give a
priority response to resolve in-resort issues.
11.2
Should the matter not be resolved while you are in resort, any complaint must be
submitted in writing within 30 days of return from your Holiday to your Travel Agent or to Hala
Abu Dhabi’s, Guest Relations Department, P.O. Box 35566, Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi, United Arab
Emirates, or by e-mail to

12. Specific Conditions are applicable for the Tours & Safaris operated by Hala
Abu Dhabi
12.1 Terms & Conditions

• If you participate in any activity (including any sports, water sports or desert sports) whilst on
Holiday such participation is at your own risk and it is your own responsibility to obtain the
relevant insurance.
• We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of any Activity for which a booking has been
made without notice to you and for any reason whatsoever. In particular, due to the nature
of many of the Activities, delays and cancellations may result due to factors beyond Hala
Abu Dhabi’s' control, such as the weather, sickness, strikes, disputes and other events of
force majeure. In such cases, a refund or partial refund may be given at the discretion of
Hala Abu Dhabi and/or the operator of the Activity concerned, but is not guaranteed.
• The full price of any Activity will be due and payable at the time of booking is made. Hala
Abu Dhabi may cancel any booking if the full price of the Activity is not paid at least two (2)
days prior to commencement of the booked Activity. No refund will be payable if the booking
is cancelled less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to commencement of an Activity. Failure
to turn up in the designated location for an Activity by the specified departure time shall be
considered to be cancellation.
• You understand and accept the potential risks and hazards that can be involved in certain
of the Activities, and take responsibility for ensuring that you are mentally and physically
capable of participating in the particular Activity. You must comply with the instructions of
any personnel providing the Activity (“Guest Guide”). If in the opinion of the Guest Guide, your
behaviour or physical condition is detrimental to the safety, welfare and well-being of the
group as a whole, or if the Guest Guide considers that your general well-being will be put
at risk by continuing with the Activity, you may be asked not to participate in the Activity
without the right to any refund.
• You acknowledge that Hala Abu Dhabi may not have direct control over the maintenance
or safety of all the equipment or machinery used in providing the Activities, nor may it have
any direct control over the training provided and supervision of the use of any equipment or
machinery used in the Activities.
12.2 Child Policy
• The child prices are applicable for children from 2 to below 12 years, exceptions for a private
vehicle.
• Infants are not permitted to join any safari trips
12.3 General Notes
• Meals and soft drinks are included in our tours & safaris, unless otherwise stated. Please
refer to individual descriptions for details.
• Our safari vehicles are long-wheelbase four wheel drives, which are fitted with safety belts
and air-conditioning and licensed to carry up to 6 passengers, excluding the driver. By law,
passengers must wear the seat belts while the vehicle is in motion.
• It is mandatory to read the Safety Card which is provided by the Guest Guide before
proceeding on the safari.
• Passengers are reminded that photography of military and some government installations
is prohibited. With respect to local customs, always ask before taking pictures of Arabs and
do not photograph Arab ladies dressed in traditional attire.
• Guests may be asked to sign an indemnity form for certain tours & safaris.
• Hala Abu Dhabi operated Safaris do not accept children under the age of 4 unless the client
books a private vehicle to accommodate the child seat.
• Hala Abu Dhabi operated Safaris do not accept Adults over the age of 60 unless the
